As a 1st activity for all of us, especially all our new arrivals, I’d like to suggest a Life List activity. Some people call Life Lists “Bucket Lists.” The idea is to take a bit of time and really think through what you’d like to accomplish. It’s nice to do it for several time frames, like:
- The 5 Months of Medici University @LEA23
- 5 Years
Making Your List
One great way to develop your Life List is to freely brainstorm. Just write down anything that comes to mind. After that you can go through all the things you’ve thought about and see if they lead to other things you’re interested in. Some might seem unimportant and you can cross them off. After you’ve got a rough list that you like, you can assign items to different time frames: this I’d like to accomplish during Spring Semester at MU, that is more of a 5-year goal.
If you look online you can find lots of Life Lists and Bucket Lists, but before you spend too much time thinking about other people’s dreams, it’s a good idea to try to scribble out some of the things that are really important to you.
Sharing Your List
Your list doesn’t have to be public. It can be private. If you do choose to share it, you can compare your list to your classmates lists, discuss ideas, and help with resources and support.

- WordPress.com – get a free blog
- Tumblr.com – get a free blog
- Blogger.com – get a free blog
- KATYPERRYOPOLIS.club – give Izzy an email address to be added as an “author” here on KPO
